First, though, just wanted to document what J looks like after eating his vegetables (aka KETCHUP) at dinner.
Saturday morning we hit the Des Moines Farmer's Market-- it was a bit chilly, but the sun warmed things up quite nicely. I must say, that for being not that big of a city, Des Moines has an awesome Farmer's Market!
Watching for doggies! If Molly was even remotely well-behaved, we might think about bringing her once in a while, too.
J rode in the wagon with his cousins for a while, and he thought that was pretty cool!
Then we went to enjoy a gourmet lunch at McDonald's! What can I say, I wanted J to have one of those cute Halloween buckets! And Jeremiah never turns down a meal that involves "kop-kop"!
After naps, we got J all suited up and hit the Blank Park Zoo for "Night Eyes."
First Jeremiah LOVED his doggie costume!
Then he didn't.
Then he liked it (well, tolerated it) again.
Waiting at the entrance-- sleepy doggie!
Once we got in and started seeing animals and CANDY, J perked right up!
"Is there candy over there? I can't see, my ears are in the way!"
Strolling along, looking for more animals (and CANDY!).
Freedom!
The cheeks. The ears. I know, it's just too much!
The doggie by the monkeys!
He soon forgot what that silly bucket was for and tried to hold all of the candy pieces in his little hands.
After our time at the zoo, we went to Incredible Pizza Co. for dinner. Well, if you like over-priced food, kids running wild, and loud crazy video games and rides then this is the place for you. Jeremiah did enjoy himself quite a bit.
Driving his very own convertible!
Taking a spin on the "carousel."
J was not so sure at first. The lady in the background, though, was having a great time!
Now it's kinda fun! Sorry for the blurry picture-- that carousel must have been spinning REALLY fast.
J also shot some baskets with Daddy...
...and took Lowly Worm for a spin.
It was a fun-filled weekend! Jeremiah just LOVES his big cousins, Kyan and Kobe!!!
And just in case you may not have seen on Facebook, here is the video of Jeremiah singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." Personally, I think it is the cutest thing EVER, and I watch it several times a day to give myself a smile. :) And remember, he's only 20 months old!!!
