Now, before you all get too excited.... NO, we are not actually "potty-training" Jeremiah. He is showing pretty much ZERO interest right now, and we are not pushing it! However, he has sat (precariously) on the BIG potty a couple of times before his bath (and nothing happened except he giggled a lot). But we happened to be at Sam's Club tonight, and stumbled upon this "Cars" potty seat, complete with cheering noises and race car sounds! After one push of the button, J was sold! We figured we will need one at some point soon anyway, so we bought it. Jeremiah could not WAIT to get home and sit on it before his bath! He kept saying, "Can I poop on my potty now?" Of course, while he was sitting there, he did nothing (except giggle). And then he looked up at Daddy and said, "Is my poop going yet???"
So, we'll see where this goes. At this point, he's just excited to sit on it for a few minutes (and of course push the button that makes the cheering and race car sounds)!
