On Saturday I was able to meet up with my good friends Stephanie and Natasha-- we hit up Starbucks for coffee, of course! :) Jeremiah and Samantha met again, and this time it's Samantha who is looking a bit concerned. We hope someday they become friends!
After coffee, we went over to Chuck E. Cheese's for Part 1 of the birthday celebration. I haven't been there in ages, and that place has changed! Did you know that they stamp everyone's hands with a specific number, and then they check your numbers when you leave to make sure that you are not stealing a child that's not yours? Interesting, and a pretty good idea.
Jeremiah was in awe of all that was going on at Chuck E. Cheese!
He even went for a ride in a monster truck with his cousins! Yes, I do believe that my heart stopped beating for a few moments.... but he did indeed survive the ride. Whew!
Saturday was also the big Iowa/Iowa State football game. Jeremiah and daddy were ready to cheer on the Hawkeyes!
Hmmm, aren't the Cyclones going to even TRY to score???
Part 2 of the birthday celebration was presents, pizza, and cake at Kelly and Rachel's house! Kobe and Kyan LOVED their new trains! Jeremiah enjoyed the box.
Aunt Rachel took Jeremiah for LOTS of rides in this little car-- he loved it! I think we may need to get one of these!
Sunday we went to church and out to lunch with the family before heading back home. We had a great time, but the weekends fly by way too fast!
Fun! And yes, this Christmas is a cheap one for you -- all he needs are boxes, bags, and wrapping paper to crinkle. ;0]
ReplyDeleteJeremiah looks so cute in his jeans! I love the way he's playing with the box while the other boys are SO intent on their trains.
