Hope has been 2 months for like 3 weeks now, so I figured I better get a post done before she gets to be 3 months old. The time is going by too fast!! I know I've said that before, and will no doubt say it again. But time needs to slow down! Hope is most definitely losing her newborn-ness, which is sad. However, her ever growing chubby cheeks and other chunky rolls do somewhat make up for that. Oh, and her coos and jabbering, too. So sweet! It has been fun to see Hope responding more to her big brother, and he definitely thinks she is a lot more fun "now that she does stuff besides lay there and cry."
Hope turned 2 months on Christmas Eve (but almost 9 weeks).

Because of the holidays and whatnot, we didn't have her 2 month doctor appointment until January 5. She is growing really well!

She is 12 lbs 13 oz and 23.5 inches long. She continues to have a large head at 40.5 cm. I was disappointed they didn't write the percentiles down because I'm always interested in that. And when the doctor told me, I didn't commit them to memory (I thought they'd write it down for me, they always did at our old pediatrician's office!). Anyway, I believe she said Hope is in the 71st %ile for weight, 85th %ile for height, and 90 something %ile for head circumference.

The doctor was pleased with Hope's growth and development, and of course marveled over her hair (again). Overall H is doing great! She's getting over a cold, but just seems to have a lingering cough. Let me tell you, I will be SO glad when we get to spring and past this cold/flu season!!
Hope got her 2 month vaccines at her appointment, and she cried very very very hard, with a very red face! :( She did calm down after I cuddled her a bit, though. She was pretty crabby that evening and the next day/evening, which is SO not like Hope!!

Thankfully the crabby, sad baby only stuck around for about 2 days. Then our happy Hope was back! :)
At 2 months, Hope is now officially wearing 6 month or 3-6 month clothing (depending on the brand. Cause it would just be silly for sizes to be consistent from brand to brand). She eats every 3-4 hours, and at night will usually give us a 5 or 5+ hour stretch, which is so nice! She LOVES loves loves her bouncy seat and hangs out happily in there for so long. This is probably why she hates tummy time and isn't even close to rolling over yet. She just loves sitting in there so much- she's like an old man and his recliner. Half the time if she is fussing, all she wants to do is chill in her bouncy.
Some more pics of Hope at 2 months (or 2 months+)!

She is starting to notice her hair and play with it when she is chilling out (in the bouncy, of course). It is so cute!

We are so happy and blessed to have Hope in our family! She is such a good-natured sweetheart and we love her so much!
